At number 56, looking up about 3 metres, one can see a devotional plaque set into the wall, one of the oldest still standing in Acquapendente, dating back to the mid 17th century. It depicts the Virgin and Child, on a green background. Between the draperies, a little head peeps out, perhaps of a cherub or St. John.
In the streets of the centre, there are several devotional plaques. Many of them date back to the last century, produced by the Fuschini and Rosa factory. Others are more recent.
