Day 1
Arrival in Viterbo and accommodation at a facility in the historic centre. Guided tour of the historical centre and its medieval quarters. Experience the evocative charm of an intact historic centre through the events, history and legends of the city. We begin with the Museo dei Portici, where it will be possible to admire the two major works by Sebastiano del Piombo previously housed in the museum.
We continue with Piazza del Gesù, the political centre of the city until the mid-13th century, Piazza della Morte with its characteristic spindle fountain built in the early 13th century, Palazzo Farnese, the famous Piazza del Duomo with the Cathedral dedicated to San Lorenzo. From there we will visit the splendid Palazzo Papale, symbol of the regional capital, and the house of Valentino della Pagnotta (only the exterior of the Palazzo Papale and the Duomo are visitable on this tour). Transfer to the Museo della Ceramica della Tuscia – Tuscia Ceramics Museum – in Palazzo Brugiotti for a visit.

Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel. Guided tour of Civita di Bagnoregio and guided trekking in the badlands. In the company of a hiking guide, trek through the intriguing landscape of the badlands, where the silhouette of Civita di Bagnoregio stands out. You will walk in unspoilt nature within scenery of incomparable beauty. The area is one of the most fascinating in Central Italy with its incredible erosive forms created by atmospheric agents in the Pliocene clays, deposited around two million years ago. Departure at the end of the activity.
